The Dead Sea

“Some days are sinkers, summer floaters.”

Here’s a thought: Maybe the Lord walked on the Dead Sea, not the Sea of Galilee!  (Slightly less miraculous, it would appear.)  They say the salts are so concentrated you cannot sink, and if you were to drink a glass of this it would kill you.  It may not be po’table, but I’ll still try to bring a flask-full home for you to taste.  Post-trip note: I did!  Eeuuw!

Easy day; we’re resting up a little before our entry into the Holy City.

Click here for web information on the Dead Sea.

Don’t miss the “HD Virtual Tour” at the bottom of the page.

That site’s especially delightful if you click the x ( ) for full screen, then click the clockwise-arrow, then raise your cursor into the picture  to begin the pan.
